Experience
I have more than 10 years of experience tutoring students. I started out tutoring my peers in high school to help pay for my tickets to my high school football games. I also volunteered helping other students while in the National Honor Society. I enjoyed tutoring so much that I kept tutoring my peers in college and graduate school. During graduate school, I was a teaching assistant for core Chemical Engineering courses. One of my top priorities is having patience with my students so that they can fully understand what I am teaching them. I am very creative with my approach in teaching my students. I make sure to teach in a way that allows them to fully understand everything. I like to relate the topics to real life examples. I also put concepts into more common words so the students can fully grasp the meaning of what they are learning. I enjoy tutoring Algebra 1 and 2, Calculus, and Chemistry. I have my bachelor's and master's degrees in Chemical Engineering. I have always enjoyed and excelled in Math and Science. During my free time, you can find me either playing or watching sports. I also enjoy playing video games and relaxing on the lake. Other activities I enjoy include scuba diving, making and building things through crafts, playing golf in the morning, and spending time with my dogs. I am a big fan of football, basketball, and baseball.
